Patrick Kelly’s repertoire was discovered during the early 1960s. His playing of ‘The Foxhunters’ Reel’ was a revelation along with several other tunes. His music is very old and he escaped notoriety throughout most of his lifetime because he traveled very little and was aptly described as a musical loner. His style of fiddle playing is a work of art with expression of a profound and engaging experience.
