This is another walking march that was composed in honor of a young Scottish warrior chieftain. It lay unnoticed in a Scottish tune collection until flute player Noel Rice (of Geashill, Co. Offaly and now Chicago) spotted the tune and began playing it. He later gave it to the Chieftains, who recorded it on one of their albums under the title’Oscar and Malvina’.
