I first heard the name of this from flute player Linda Hickman, when we met at a festival twenty years ago. I immediately liked its name, and eventually learned it from the piper Tommy Martin of Dublin / Saint Louis. My final impression of this jig is that it’s a piping tune composed
by a 19th-century piper.
