This is the second hornpipe played after ‘Sault’s Favorite’, which Paddy O’Brien (Tipperary) recorded in the 1950s. He also played it in the key of G as it was written in Cole’s Collection of music. Both tunes played on Paddy’s record were superbly matched together and the key change from F to G was very effective!
