Paddy O’Brien of Tipperary composed this hornpipe and gave it its title in response to Joe Cooley’s playing of it. Cooley could be heard playing it again and again during the 1950s as he went from place to place around Clare and Galway. O’Brien was inspired by this to compose more tunes!
