Co. Offaly fiddle player Dan Cleary of Ballinamere named this jig after an old abandoned castle a few miles from his home. He told me I gave him this tune, which I have no recollection of. With this confusion in mind, Dan saved the integrity of the jig by christening it for posterity reasons.
