Some people refer to this reel as Tommy Coen’s reel, because it was composed in the early 1960s by the Galway fiddler himself. This reel was a big hit atthe All-Ireland Fleadh Cheoils in Gorey, Co. Wexford in 1962 and Swinford, Co. Mayo in 1961.
