This was a favorite of the late Bill Harte. The version I’ve played here is a mixture of variations from John Bowe, James Kelly and Tommy Potts, with some of my own notes thrown in. The title implies the ravings of a fanatic whose rantings might serve as a continuous drone to the chanter of untuned pipes.
