This is a slip Jig, written in the Summer of 2023 for my great uncle Paddy, who died prematurely. His passing required a lament to his memory, but instead of writing an air I wanted something that not only highlighted his death but the fullness of his life. This jig aims to combine the sense of his animated, joyful spirit with all the reverence that is owed to the death of a great man.
