This piece, named after the irish word for “journey” is an air followed by a jig. It explores my own journey of growing up and discovering my way.
The air depicts youthful hopes and dreams for the future, while the jig—breaking from that sense of peace and introducing a chaos to the music—displays the reality that life doesn’t always go the way you plan.
