I composed this jig for my Dad who continues to be such a musical and personal inspiration to me and who always loves the ‘sweet note’ in a tune. His sweet style of accordion playing is always so special to listen to and growing up when I was learning music from him from a very young age he always spoke to me about always ‘looking for the sweetness in a tune’…words of wisdom that are still to forefront of my mind learning tunes today!
