The Irish Traditional Music Archive (ITMA) is committed to providing free, universal access to the rich cultural tradition of Irish music, song and dance. If you’re able, we’d love for you to consider a donation. Any level of support will help us preserve and grow this tradition for future generations.
This Set Dance was composed in honour of my mother and father. My father was from Crossmaglen and my mother was from Camlough in South Armagh, hence the name for this set, cross and lough, Croisloch in Irish. My mother and father loved to dance and my mother still danced every week up until she passed away at 91.
