Doreen Clancy Collection. 12 reel-to-reel tapes and 3 cassette tapes comprising recordings made in Co. Clare and Dublin primarily between 1960 and 1973, featuring Bobby Casey, Willie Clancy, and others. The tapes originated in the home of Willie and Doreen Clancy (née Healy) and were subsequently given to Phil O’Connor. It is unclear whether all recordings were made by the same person. Donated by Phil O’Connor.
Tom Mulligan Collection. 27 reel-to-reel tapes comprising recordings collected by Tom Mulligan, believed to date from the 1960s and early 1970s. Some tapes appear to have been recorded by Mulligan himself, while others were given to him by friends or family. The collection includes private recordings made by Louis Quinn and family for Tom Mulligan, as well as private recordings of Séamus Ennis. Donated by Néillidh Mulligan.
Cyrill O’Donoghue Collection. 11 archival boxes comprising entirely of audio recordings, including a mix of commercial, non-commercial, and radio materials. Donated by Cathy O’Donoghue.
