John Kerr Collection. Non-commercial and commercial audio recordings including 52 audio cassettes and 59 MiniDiscs primarily made by John Kerr in the north-eastern United States and Ireland, 1984–2002. The recordings feature a wide range of performers including Matt Molloy, Kevin Burke and De Dannan, and include original recordings from Irish music festivals from the mid-1990s to the 2000s. Donated by John Kerr.
Bridie and Cyril O’Donoghue Collection. A collection of commercial and non-commercial audio recordings, 1,000+ audio cassettes, LPs and MiniDiscs. Includes field recordings made by Bridie O’Donoghue, dating from the early 1960s to the 2000s, primarily recorded in Co. Clare, particularly in Doolin. The recordings feature the Russell brothers, Peadar O’Loughlin, Willie Clancy, Paddy Killoughery, the O’Donoghue family and the Kilfenora Céilí Band, among others. Donated by Cathy O’Donoghue.
