The Irish Traditional Music Archive (ITMA) is committed to providing free, universal access to the rich cultural tradition of Irish music, song and dance. If you’re able, we’d love for you to consider a donation. Any level of support will help us preserve and grow this tradition for future generations.
The Irish Traditional Music Archive is delighted to welcome five new interns this summer.
Heather Wallace, Tess Wobbe and Alison O’Connor from the UCD Masters of Library Science, Elsa Cox from the University of Notre Dame and Tarrey Fuller from Boston College will be helping with major projects in the archive for the next 6-8 weeks.
Heather, Tess, Alison and Elsa will be organising and inventorying ITMA’s entire collection of LP records, which features roughly 10,000 discs. Meanwhile, Tarrey will work on the promotion and growth of ITMA’s online shop.
ITMA would like to thank our partners in UCD, University of Notre Dame and Boston College for helping to arrange the internships.
