The Cobblestone Bar,
December 2014.
Over the last number of years, traditional musicians have held an annual Christmas concert in the Cobblestone Backroom to raise much needed funds for The Capuchin Day Centre. What started out as Christmas Eve busking has now become an established part of the Christmas traditional music calendar and so far has raised €73,000 for charity.
ITMA previously featured a gallery of images from the 2024 concert taken by photographer Steven de Paoire Tunes for the Capuchins in 2024.
Steven was also present a decade earlier, in 2014, and the pictures in this gallery capture the evening’s atmosphere and musical performances from that night.
This year’s event will take place on 23rd December 2025, and will be also be streamed online. For more details see the GoFundMe page.
Our thanks to Steven for his kind permission to publish his images on the ITMA website.
