Fahey’s Pub collection. c. 250 photographs and 1 collage from Fahey’s Pub, Miltown Malbay, Co. Clare. Fahey’s Pub was on the Ennis Road in Miltown Malbay, two doors up from Queally’s and across the road from Cleary’s. Together, these pubs formed a very popular triangle of music pubs in the town. Fahey’s was run by Mary Fahey until the late 2000s. It was well known as a great house for music, and it was a regular place for Peadar Ó Riada and Cór Cúil Aodha to visit after Sunday Mass. Many of the photographs in the collection appear to be from those Sunday afternoons. Donated by Fahey’s Pub.
