Make your donation go further: a donation of €250 or more in any tax year is worth an additional 44.93% to ITMA. So for €50 more, ITMA can claim an additional €112.33 tax back from revenue.

Irish-based donors can see their donations augmented by the State through the CHY3 form, which makes any donation above €250 worth €362.33 towards ITMA’s archival work, at no additional cost to you.

ITMA is eligible for 501(c)3 donations, so for potential donors based in the USA, donating to ITMA can be a tax efficient way of making more and more archival material accessible to remote users.

Upcoming Event

Once again this year ITMA will host free lunchtime events as part of National Heritage Week 2026. This year’s events include a lecture and recital from concertina player Micheál Ó Raghallaigh celebrating the 100th anniversary of the first recordings of Irish traditional music on the concertina by William J. Mullally, along with an exclusive free screening in the Lighthouse Cinema of ITMA and TG4’s acclaimed 2025 documentary Cartlann Christy Moore followed by a Q&A. Both events are free, but there are limited spaces available so be sure to book your spot in advance.
