I composed this waltz in 2019 while at university. During my time at UCC, I had the privilege of meeting many outstanding musicians through UCC Trad Soc, which played a central role in my musical development during those years. This waltz was written for my friend and housemate Muireann Hickey, with whom I spent many evenings playing tunes. Our apartment at Victoria Cross became a central location for many music sessions, UCC TradSoc meetings and parties during my college years.
