The Irish Traditional Music Archive (ITMA) is committed to providing free, universal access to the rich cultural tradition of Irish music, song and dance. If you’re able, we’d love for you to consider a donation. Any level of support will help us preserve and grow this tradition for future generations.
Emer Ní Scolaí is a 22 year old harpist from Dublin. She has been playing the harp ever since her passion for Irish music was instilled in her by her late grandfather, the well-known Clare singer and flute-player Séamus Mac Mathúna. In July 2025, she released her debut album, ‘Aiséirí’ which features both traditional tunes and her own compositions.
When she’s not writing her own music, she enjoys playing with her two sisters, Caoilfhionn and Sorcha in their exciting up-and-coming band, ‘Sult’
