The Irish Traditional Music Archive (ITMA) is committed to providing free, universal access to the rich cultural tradition of Irish music, song and dance. If you’re able, we’d love for you to consider a donation. Any level of support will help us preserve and grow this tradition for future generations.
Here in the library we are committed to creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for all our users. Whether you’re carrying out an in-depth research project or simply browsing our collections, we understand that some of our users may benefit from different learning and reading supports. This is why we are happy to announce that we now have a new range of accessible materials and tools available to help make your visit as comfortable as possible.
Below, you will see a quick guide to these materials, what they are designed to help with, and links to organisations and websites where you can learn more and find additional advice and support.
We are always looking for ways to improve our reading room and if there is any accessibility tool or resource you think would be beneficial to you for your visit here, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us at [email protected] where you can discuss this further with the Duty Librarian.
