This is a walking march that was also introduced by Sean Ó Riada and Ceoltóirí Chualann. It was originally a harpers’ composition that was adopted by 18th-century pipers who played it as a double jig with the title ‘The Humors of Trim’. It was first published in 1733 as part of a Scottish tune collection.
