I first heard this played in the Dubliner Irish pub in Washington, D.C., by the trio of Billy McComiskey (box), Brendan Mulvihill (fiddle), and Andy O’Brien (guitar). They had previously recorded it on their first LP under the name of their trio, The Irish Tradition. It was another O’Carolan composition that I added to my repertoire.
