    The Irish Traditional Music Archive (ITMA) is committed to providing free, universal access to the rich cultural tradition of Irish music, song and dance.     Make your donation go further: a donation of €250 or more in any tax year is worth an additional 44.93% to ITMA. So for €50 more, ITMA can claim an additional €112.33 tax back from revenue.

    Irish-based donors can see their donations augmented by the State through the CHY3 form, which makes any donation above €250 worth €362.33 towards ITMA’s archival work, at no additional cost to you.

    ITMA is eligible for 501(c)3 donations, so for potential donors based in the USA, donating to ITMA can be a tax efficient way of making more and more archival material accessible to remote users.

    Donegal fiddler John Doherty has touched the imagination of Irish traditional musicians almost everywhere his name is mentioned. His great musicianship is well known, but the extent of his extraordinary repertoire is sometimes unreported. This is another reel he recorded for Breandán Breathnach during the early 1960s.
