I’ve seen the Rock of Cashel (with its great castle on top) take on a golden hue when bright evening sunlight shone directly from the west as the sun sank low on the horizon. Other Irish castles have been seen by travelers who stop to watch this very awesome sight and perhaps take a snapshot home in their cameras. Junior Crehan did even better. He composed this hornpipe and named it in memory of what he saw.
