This one is another composition of Co. Cavan / Philadelphia fiddler Ed Reavy. Munster, being the southernmost of the four provinces of Ireland, can certainly be proud of its pastures, but the quality of its grass can only be ascertained by the taste and appetite of a cow. Still, it’s a nice name for a tune, and the quality of its melody says much for Ed Reavy’s genius and sense of hornpipe melody.
