This tune was very often played by non-traditional style céilí bands during the 1950s and 1960s. It was often a dance floor favorite and could be heard on Raidió Éireann’s Saturday night ‘Céilí House’ program, which was amiably hosted by Galway’s Seán Ó Murchú.
