This is an old melodeon tune once played by Joe Burke’s uncle Pat. Joe put it on one of his LPs during the 1960s. He played it in the key of D minor, which gave the jig a great lift – and thereby inspired some box players to do the same. We are all grateful to Pat Burke for this one.
