To celebrate the creativity and talent of women on St. Brigid’s Day 2022, the Department of Foreign Affairs and ITMA collaborated to commission three outstanding, talented and emerging traditional musicians to compose new works inspired by lore relating to St. Brigid. The artists are Louise Mulcahy (uilleann pipes/flute), Síle Denvir (harp/sean-nós singing) and Cailtín Nic Gabhann (dancer/concertina).
