MSCA Researchers’ Night

Lynnsey Weissenberger, ITMA’s Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellow, will introduce the public to the LITMUS (Linked Irish Traditional Music) project tonight during PROBE held at Trinity College Dublin.

PROBE, a collaboration between Trinity College Dublin and Science Gallery Dublin, is part of European Researchers’ Night, taking place in cities across the continent on 29th September. PROBE is free and is open to everyone of all ages.

For her PROBE “Café Curie” presentation, Lynnsey will explain the importance of musical and personal relationships in Irish traditional music, playing an example on the fiddle and describing how LITMUS will make these relationships come to light. More information about the event, along with the full programme, can be found here.
