Drawing from the Well: Meet the Artists

Dublin City Libraries (DCL), and the Irish Traditional Music Archive (ITMA) are delighted to announce a series of individual live interviews and Q/A sessions with ‘Drawing from the Well’ Artists Daoirí Farrell, Steve Cooney, and Aoife Ní Bhriain.

Hosted by Liam O’Connor Director of ITMA, and David O’Brien Librarian DCL, members of the public are invited to meet and chat with the artists about their work.

These free events will take place on Zoom and places can be booked via Eventbrite. They will also be streamed live on the ITMA and DCL Facebook Pages.

Drawing from the Well is a monthly ITMA series which connects artists with archival materials to inspire new art. To date nine exciting videos, podcasts and blogs have been created by leading traditional musicians, singers, and dancers, including Louise Mulcahy, Martin Hayes, Edwina Guckian and Cormac Begley. All episodes are free to view online at ITMA Drawing from the Well.
