The Inishowen-related book publications presented below fall into two groups, an older and a more recent group.

A ‘Come-All-Ye’ song collection was published by the Derry Journal over a period of some 50 years. It appeared in four distinct editions, compiled by unknown editors. These books both draw on local singing traditions of the Derry hinterland, including that of Inishowen, and have had an influence on the oral tradition. The collections are reproduced here courtesy of Martin McGinley, editor of the Derry Journal. In the 1980s, two local Inishowen song collections were compiled and edited by Jim MacFarland and/or Jimmy McBride and published in Buncrana. These collections are reproduced here courtesy of Jim MacFarland and Jimmy McBride. Also presented below is an Inishowen collection Two Good Men and True, which was compiled for publication by Jimmy McBride but not published until now (March 2013).

The collections can be viewed online or as pdf downloads.
