Pat Burke

Pat Burke is a traditional singer and songwriter from Dún Laoghaire, Co. Dublin. Pat began singing at traditional music sessions in Dún Laoghaire in the 1980s. He later moved to Bray, where in the 1990s he ran his own traditional sessions.

A visitor to one of these Bray sessions in 1998, told Pat to try the Góilín Singers Club some night. His exact words were: “with the songs you sing, you should go into the Go-al-ee-in Club." Pat first visited the Góilín Club in November 1998, and has been singing there ever since.
