Following the latest Government announcement on 29 April 2021:
Galleries, museums, libraries and other cultural attractions can re-open.
In light of this announcement, ITMA premises will re-open to the Public on Monday 10 May 2021. We look forward to welcoming you back, and working together to make your visit as safe as possible.
A member of ITMA staff will explain our internal Covid-19 policy upon arrival.
In order to ensure social distancing, a maximum of 6 public reading desks will be available.
ITMA will close daily during the lunch period 1-2 pm. This is in order to accommodate ventilation and sanitisation of the Reading Room.
Under government guidelines members of the public who can must wear a face covering when entering the building.
We ask you to please follow public health advice, including quarantine protocols. Do not come to the Archive if you are feeling unwell.
The health and well-being of our users and staff is of paramount importance to ITMA.
We would also like to remind you that ITMA services will continue online and contact can be made with staff by email.
