Consortium of National & University Libraries

It's been a busy month for post-doctoral fellow, Lynnsey Weissenberger. She's once again heading off to represent ITMA at CONUL — the Consortium of National & University Libraries — in Galway. Her presentation will explore future applications of linked data and the LITMUS project for ITMA.

The Consortium of National & University Libraries (CONUL), Ireland, holds their annual conference 30–31 of May. This year’s conference theme focuses on 'Transformative Experiences,' which is relevant to the LITMUS project’s goal of transforming cultural heritage using linked data. The full programme may be found at conference.conul.ie.

ITMA’s Lynnsey Weissenberger will present on the LITMUS (Linked Irish Traditional Music) project. Her talk, 'The Linked Irish Traditional Music project: Process and approach,' will discuss the focus on ITMA’s user communities, the process and approaches used in ontology building, and potential future applications for ITMA.
