What's it all about?

This year we are featuring 24 bonny babies who have grown up to be among Ireland's finest traditional music performers. 

From 1 December at 12 noon GMT each day, a mystery bonny baby photo will be released on social media (facebook, instagram and twitter) and our website, where you will have a chance to guess their identity in the post comments. 

At 12 noon GMT the following day, their identity will be revealed with a performance selected from the ITMA Field Recording Collection. All 'correct' answers will be added to a draw for a a special ITMA prize on Christmas Day. 

We will then release the next Mystery image and so it will continue until Christmas Day.
