Thanks to a generous grant from the Heritage Council ITMA staff are in the process of tackling the large body of posters, flyers, tickets, brochures etc. that have been collected over the years.

Once this substantial collection is organised and accessible it will provide a treasure trove of information about Irish traditional music.

With the help of volunteers an initial sort-a-thon day was held in June. This proved very successful and enjoyable and thousands of items were sorted into their relevant county boxes.  Read the blog telling the story of that day.

A second Sort-a-thon day is planned for Saturday 16 September 2017.  The day will run from 10.30 am to 4 pm and lunch will be provided for volunteers.
