Lynched at the Irish Traditional Music Archive MusicTown 2016 & Trad Rising

Traditional song has always been an integral part of Dublin’s musical landscape, with its own particular voice. Tradition continues to find this voice through Dublin band, Lynched, who have emerged as an exciting, contemporary sound of the capital.

This four-piece traditional, folk group deliver a vocal and instrumental repertoire spanning Dublin songs, the Traveller tradition, Irish and American dance tunes, and their own original material.

ITMA is delighted to offer the opportunity to experience Lynched in a unique & intimate setting as part of MusicTown 2016. The event will also be live streamed via ITMA’s YouTube Channel, and complemented by a special digital exhibition of Dublin songs on the ITMA website, curated by Lynched.

By purchasing a ticket to Lynched @ The Irish Traditional Music Archive the ticket holder will also gain admission to Trad Rising (featuring Lynched, Twin Headed Wolf, Skippers Alley, Ye Vagabonds, Landless, Danny Diamond and Slow Moving Clouds), Thursday, 14 April 2016, The Button Factory.
