A free lunchtime concert of Irish traditional music by leading fiddle players Paddy Glackin and Dermot McLaughlin will be held in the premises of the Irish Traditional Music Archive on Tuesday 18 September 2012 from 1.15 to 1.45 pm. Both players are particularly well known for their expertise in the fiddle music of Co Donegal, and both were closely involved as Traditional Music Officers of the Arts Council in the formation of the Archive 25 years ago.

The concert is one of a number of events marking ITMA 25, the anniversary year of the Archive's founding in 1987. It is funded by the Merrion Square Innovation Network, enabled by Fáilte Ireland, as part of its current 'September on the Square' celebration of art and culture in Georgian Dublin. The Archive itself is funded by An Chomhairle Ealaíon/ The Arts Council, the Arts Council of Northern Ireland, and by a variety of institutional and private supporters.

While admission is free, places are limited and online booking is essential.
