Linked Data Ontology Creation and Irish Traditional Music

Lynnsey Weissenberger, ITMA’s Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellow, will present a paper on the LITMUS (Linked Irish Traditional MUSic) project at the forthcoming International Council for Traditional Music (ICTM) world conference.

The conference will take place from July 9-13 and will be held at the Irish World Academy of Music and Dance in Limerick, Ireland. Lynnsey’s presentation discusses the LITMUS project’s aims of building a linked data ontology suited towards Irish traditional music and dance, focusing on some of the key issues and potential challenges surrounding the project.
