Born in County Sligo, fiddle duo Manus & Séamus McGuire grew up in a rich musical environment in the North West of Ireland. Both award winning musicians, they have recorded a number of albums together including Humours of Lisadell and Carousel. In the 1980s they formed the band Buttons and Bows with Jackie Daly and Garry O’Brien, a group that would prove to be one of the most influential in Ireland at the time.

This event is being held to coincide with the second weekend of Explore You Archive, a week long campaign celebrating archives across the globe taking place from the 18 to 26 of November 2017.
