ITMA welcomes interns Sorcha Ní Scolaí and Campbell Hannan

This month, ITMA was pleased to welcome interns Sorcha Ní Scolaí and Campbell Hannan.

A transition year student, Sorcha Ní Scolaí joined us at ITMA to complete her work experience. A gifted piper, in her time at the archive Sorcha researched the work and legacy of Patsy Touhey. In this video, Sorcha explores Patsy’s impact while playing his tunes.


Campbell Hannan came to ITMA as part of her MA Archives & Records Management course at UCD. Campbell spent her time in the archive cataloguing the music manuscripts, sheet music, books and correspondence of the Wexford singer and song columnist of Ireland’s Own, Nellie Walsh.
