ITMA Field Recordings

Festivals and individual performers recorded by the Archive from 1993 to 2011

Since 1993 the Archive has been involved in a programme of audio and video field and studio recording. Most recordings have been made of performers and lecturers at festivals and other venues throughout Ireland. Recordings have also been made on location and in studio of individual singers, musicians and dancers, some in multiple sessions. The resulting recordings are being systematically transferred to CD, digital files or DVD, and catalogued, and most are already available for consultation in the Archive.
