Publications
The Irish Traditional Music Archive is a publisher in its own right with an on-going programme of publication. To date, the Archive has published two major printed publications deriving from historical manuscript collections of Irish traditional music.

The Archive has also published to date a series of six information leaflets on different aspects of the tradition. These are now available online:

Other significant publications are in active development: sound recordings of historic Irish concertina playing, of Traveller music and Irish-Newfoundland music; books of the first published collection of Irish music in facsimile, of the complete instrumental collections of Capt Francis O'Neill, of the music and song collected by Edward Bunting, and of the comparative music collections made by William Forde around the time of the Famine.
In addition, the Archive is pleased to cooperate with other organisations in the publication of Irish traditional music. These publications include books, sound recordings and DVDs.

The Archive sells:

- the available publications of the voluntary society the Folk Music Society of Ireland.
